Description

Mana Pools National Park is located in northern Zimbabwe, encompassing a sprawling area of 2,196 square kilometers. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park is known for its natural beauty and as one of the continent's premier game-viewing regions. The term 'Mana' means ‘four’ in the local Shona language, which refers to the four large pools inland from the Zambezi River. These pools attract large numbers of wildlife searching for water, particularly in the dry season.
